Maze Grill, Chelsea

maze grill Chelsea, where to eat in London, London dinner spots, food blogger, gordon Ramsey

Happy Thursday everyone! I hope you are having a lovely week so far!

Dinner dates are my favourite kind of dates, especially when they involve a broad mix of cuisines!

If you are after an relaxed and intimate dinner then Maze Grill is the place for.

We settled in with nibbles to share between us.

We went for the popcorn chicken, marinated in gochujang sauce which gives the chicken a lovely sweet and spicy flavour!

The smashed avocado and sweet potatoes fries (can't go wrong with this) and chilli & garlic prawns, which come in spicy, Indian inspired sauce and some crispy sourdough bread to soak up the delicious sauce!

I really love the fact that next to the lovely meats Maze Grill is known for, they also offer a lovely selection of sushi!

We went for the California roll and the snow crab was beautifully marinated!

As a main we share the Hiromasa Kingfish, which is marinated in miso and served with a refreshing fennel and dill salad!

The fish was butter soft and flakey and I loved the tomato & onion salad!

Last but certainly not least we went for a refreshing lime sorbet with grilled meringue, which was one of the loveliest desserts I had in a while and was the perfect way to finish of our lovely evening!

And I've adopted the way of my Italian boyfriend, never leave the table without a espresso!

The dress code is very relaxed so I opted for jeans, shirt and these lovely French Sole ballerinas - I own them in so many colours already but this bright blue pair was love at first sight!
