Denim on Denim

ray ban sunglasses, bonde hair, blonde bob, errol douglas, peplum top, denim jacket, denim on denim, wilbur and gussie, pink clutch, casual chick

Happy Hump Day everyone! I can't believe we are already half way through July ( you wouldn't think so judging by the weather anyways!)

This is one of my typical on-the go looks atm - I can't wait to finally wear this cute poplin dress on it's own!

And as the weather is being super unpredictable my beloved wedge heels are having a break and instead I'm relying on my fave kicks again - oh British summer how I love you!

Good hair day everyday with Errol Douglas

Errol douglas review, blonde bob, blonde wavey hair, subella london, whistles dress, denim jacket, espadrilles, castaner espadrilles

Wouldn't it be amazing, if every day was a good hair day?

I've entrusted my locks to the lovely team at Errol Douglas the other week and I dare to say that they might have achieved just that!

Tucked away in Motcombe Street, the salon is spacious and friendly and on my arrival I was warmly greeted by the receptionist!

I started of with a consultation to discuss what colour and style I would like and both Jasmin and Anna really paid attention to my hair and what I wanted out of my appointment.
I'm so happy with my gorgeous honey blonde bob and the best of it - it's super easy to style!

I've never thought of myself as being any good when it comes to styling my own hair but as it turns out,  it really is all about the right cut and some helpful tips from Anna.

To keep my new do healthy and glossy I'm currently trying this Silke London turban which aims to fight off split ends, balances combination hair (dry ends and oily roots) and is meant to improve the growth of baby-hairs.

I've been using this turban for nearly a month now and I can really tell that my hair gets less greasy and even my boyfriend recently commented on my glossy hair - so something must be working, right!?

Before I use my curling tongs I make sure to always use a heat protecting spray and I'm really happy with the Maria Nila cream heat spray, which is free of SLS and therefore really lightweight!

With my hair being in such a happy place it would be rude not to put on a lovely dress and hit town and this is exactly what I've done this weekend!

I wanted to wear something fun and casual and this Whistles shirt dress (which also comes in black here) fits just the bill - I've paired it with my go-to espadrilles and this cute Subella London bag!

Venus Swirl Razor x ClassPass

To celebrate the launch of the new Venus Swirl razor, Venus has partnered with the hottest fitness network ClassPass.

I was lucky enough to attend one of their in-demand sessions at Lomax Gym, just in time to get my legs summer-ready!
venus swirl razor, classpass gymclass, legs workout, get your legs summer ready

Next to my legs I wanted to focus on my butt and core and this Venus Swirl Bench Lunge does just the trick:

Stand with your back to a bench, or any platform that is at about knee height

Take a big step forward and put the top of your left foot behind you on the bench

Bend the right knee, keeping it in line with the toes, until your right thigh is parallel with the floor, then stand back up

Keep hands together at chest level, focusing on using your core to steady yourself

Repeat this movement for 8 reps, then swap and repeat on the other side

I've picked the bench lunge as my key move as it can be done in the gym as well as at home with a chair / coffee table.

After my lovely gym session it was time to try the new Venus Swirl shaver with it's 'FlexiBall technology', which has been designed to contour the curves of your body and tackle those hard to reach areas with #MovesLikeNoOther for fewer missed hairs.

After applying the Satin Care shave gel (which comes with a drop of Olay) I went on to shave my legs and I did notice how more flexible the shaver is and tricky areas such as my ankles (where I always manage to get little cuts) and knees stayed without any harm!

The new blades have a 'MicroFine' comb to guide hair to the blades, which makes the blades much more effective! Thanks to their 'MoistureGlide' serum they glide easily along the skin (perfect for those last-minute shaves).

In stores nationwide now. To find out more, visit

I was wearing these fun, reversible Sweaty Betty leggings which are now on sale over here.

British Summer Dressing

summer wardrobe key pieces, summer staples, maje red leather jacket, maje red biker jacket, breton stripe dress, castaner espadrilles, how to wear espadrilles, london street style, chrissabella

Mastering the British summer dress code is a challenge I'm still trying to figure out but these three wardrobe key pieces have served me well so far!

missoma necklace, breton stripe dress, striped dress, red leather jacket

First up is the breton dress - nothing screams more summer than this humble striped dress and I love how versatile it is.

Next up is the leather jacket as we all know how unpredictable summer can be and nothing cooler than throwing a biker jacket over a delicate summer dress!

Espadrilles have always been the go-to shoe when on holiday in the Med but why not bring some summer feeling over to London - I'm currently wearing mine with everything!

Beauty favourites

Little luxuries

Sometimes it's the little luxuries that can make all the difference and the KITA moisturising serum just does that!
Kita is inspired by the ancient philosophy of the Five Elements (I'm Water) and instead of focusing on your skin type or age you simply identify your element over here and find the right product for your skin.

I've been testing this tailored skin serum every night for over a month now and I'm really happy with it - I love it's smell, too!

I'm currently having two perfume favourites and first up is the gorgeous Giorgio Armani Si!
I love it's elegant and unique smell, it's my go-to evening scent.
It is very long-lasting and best described as a mixture of sweet/woody without being too overpowering!

Next up is my go-to day perfume which comes in the form of Lovely Sheer by SJP!

I love how effortless and chic the scent is, featuring a blend of Moroccan Orange flower, Gardenia water, pink peppercorns and musk.

I've recently discovered Herbfarmacy, a british skincare brand committed to create only fresh and organic products!

I love the fact that Herbfarmacy handpicks most of their ingredients at local fields.

When it comes to makeup removal I find nothing more relaxing than using a rich balm and a hot cloth.

Their Mallow Beauty Balm is perfect for melting all your makeup away and it leaves your skin moisturised and smooth.

They offer most of their products in travel size which is perfect for the upcoming holidays or if you just want to try sample their products!

Hand Care

With summer coming up is time to give your hands and feet some TLC and these are my current favourites.

This Liz Earle Rosemary & Rock Rose hand cream is taking center stage on my nigh stand.

It's enriched with soothing echinacea and toning hops, plus antioxidant-rich beta-carotene and natural source vitamin E.

This Rituals Miracle Scrub is perfect for giving your hands a good scrub, leaving your skin smooth and moisturised.

My go-to summer nail polish is the Fiji from Essie, it's the perfect creamy, opaque pink.

I've recently discovered Trouva,  who've made it their mission to deliver: "a handpicked selection of the most inspired independent shops out there, to bring you a shoppable collection of beautiful, unusual products that stand out from the crowd".

This is were I've found this cute clown wash bag from Pantomime, which will be great for all my upcoming travels.

Makeup Favourites

I've been blogging about this RMK foundation for quite a bit now and it's still my favourite one, read more about it here

I've been lusting after one of these gorgeous Tom Ford lipsticks for a while now and when I've spotted this gorgeous white packing I couldn't resist any longer.

The "Lip Color Sheer" delivers long-lasting color and hydration throughout the day and the creamy, light-weight texture is perfect for summer!

If you are still looking for the perfect, smudge and fade proof eyeliner look no further!

This Blinc eyeliner really does what it says on the tin, bye-bye panda eyes!

Another new discovery of late is 3ina, their professionally formulated products come with a very reasonable price tag. I've been trying this blusher for a while now and I really love it's great colour pay off!

When it comes to getting your legs looking it's best I feel like every little helps!

I love using this Rituals foaming shower gel, which leaves skin super soft and it smells just gorgeous!

Next up I try to squeeze in a little body brush session every morning, using this Mio Skincare one.

I've always been a little wary of self-tanning products but this ST. Tropez "everyday tinted body lotion" really works like a treat, without any streaks.

I've been loving this Nuxe illuminating body oil for years now and I love it for creating soft and shimmering skin and hair!

Dell XPS Sessions - We Love Your Work

dell blogger session, how to be a professional blogger, how to deal with blogging competition, we love your work, dellxps, dell xps laptop review, london blogger
Last week I've joined Dell for two lovely days filled with amazing speakers, sessions and activities, where we had the chance to try the new Dell XPS laptops  #weloveyourwork #dellxps.

Our first day started off with a talk from tax specialist for HMRC Yinka Omole, who offered us a rare insight into all things TAX and VAT.

It was a very insightful and fascinating talk on how bloggers should deal with everything TAX related.

The Sessions were held at the beautiful Bourne and Hollingsworth Cafe, which has to be one of the most beautiful and photogenic buildings in London and their food is amazing, too!

Our next session was held by one of my favourite bloggers, talented Shini Park, Founder of Park & Cube.

She shared some of her knowledge as graphic designer and how she manages her unique online presence, which is highly focused on visual storytelling.

blog design, shini park and cube

We got messy with pen and paper and Shini showed us how to make the most out of design tool kits such as PIXLR and how to transform typography onto our blog images by using the Dell XPS laptops.

We ended our first day with a lovely and delicious Dell dinner, which was perfect for networking and discussing our new skills.

The second day was all about Analytics & Influencers and Professionalism & Growth but first up we had another amazing breakfast provided by Bourne and Hollingsworth Cafe.

The panel discussed important points such as:

What brands are looking for
  • Creativity and Consistent blog posts
  • Quality blog content
  • Affiliates and Trackable links

Media Kit Content
  • Introduction to your blog
  • Monthly Unique visitors and Page View numbers
  • Age, Gender and Geographic information
  • Be honest about your figures!

It was really interesting to hear the opinion from industry insiders on how bloggers can be more professional and efficient in their business and what credentials they are looking for in potential blogger collaborations.

After being able to test the new Dell XPS laptops over the last couple of days it left me really impressed!
With it's sleek and lightweight design, the small but mighty (16GB of memory) Dell XPS 13 has stolen my heart.

Being the smallest laptop (33.8 cm) on the market makes it perfect for people who are working on the go and I love it's 'InfityEdge' display which is perfect for creating beautiful blog content.

Thank you Dell for the lovely and informative sessions and talks!
